Mike Riddle takes first in freeski superpipe final in Winter Dew Tour, Simon Dumont takes sixth
During the freeski superpipe final at the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge this past weekend, the competition really didn't get going until the athlete's second runs. The majority of them fell during their fist outings.
With a giant double flip and signature alley-oop bow and arrow, Canadian Mike Riddle took the top spot with 93.00 points. Star of Riley Poor's "Transitions", Simon Dumont, took home sixth place with a score of 81.00.
“It feels amazing to win. I couldn’t be happier,” said Riddle. “I put down the run I wanted to, and I’m just happy I came out on top.”
Next stop for the Dew Tour is Snowbasin Resort in Ogden Utah for Wendy's Invitational, January 14-17, followed by the Toyota Championship at Mount Snow Resort in West Dover, Vermont February 4-7.
